I have heard of a lot of things about the Caribbean, and I would really like to go there some time. People say that everything about it is appealing, like the long white beaches, crystal clear water, and the hospitality of the people. Maybe I should take a Bahamas vacation on this wonderful part of the world.

The Caribbean islands have wonderful sights, and offer a lot of exciting activities. It would be nice to charter a boat and go on an island hopping tour. I think that would be a wonderful experience considering that there are about 700 remarkable islands that you can visit.
 
There are many ways in which to explore the Caribbean on a Bahamas vacation. You can rent a car, scooter, a bicycle, or take a taxi. There are ferry services, including a fast service and it's also possible to take the slow route on a sailboat. There are also resorts who offer guided tours to tourist hot spots.

It would also be fun to visit Nassau, the capital city, on New Providence Island. It's an exciting casino city, and there is plenty of nightlife with live shows and clubs. The city also offers the opportunity to learn about the history of the islands. You can also enjoy some of the city’s great restaurants and hotels on a Bahamas vacation.

The islands are also a paradise for scuba divers and snorkellers. Those who have these hobbies would love to go on a Bahamas vacation. There are 29 different locations where divers can go to and take advantage of the crystal clear water. If you are into diving, you can really enjoy the fabulous reefs, caves and numerous shipwrecks.  Sharks are a common sight, and you can go on trips that offer swimming with dolphins.

Those who love to fish can also find plenty of opportunities to take pleasure in their favorite activity in these islands. Fishermen can enjoy deep-sea fishing, flat fishing and bone fishing in the islands’ rich waters.
 
They can also charter a boat or stay in a fishing lodge. It should be noted that spear fishing and spear guns on a Bahamas vacation are prohibited by law. Tourist can also enjoy plenty of other sports including golf on some of the finest courses. A Bahamas vacation is also ideal for water sports, yachting or tennis.
