My Love of the Great Outdoors E-mail
Do you like to spend your time outdoors? Well, I do because I grew up in a family of nature nuts and we spend a lot of our time in the great outdoors. We developed a love for nature because we lived on a farm in Iowa that was miles from the closest neighbor. A river literally ran right next to our back yard and we had fifteen acres of woods to camp and play in.

My father influenced us to be nature nuts. My dad is a huge fan of the great outdoors and we all seemed to follow in his footsteps. My siblings and I are now grown up and we all live in rural areas. I’m not really sure why, but none of us desire neighbors.

We all crave that private spot of land where we have the privacy and freedom to act as we please. I absolutely love everything about Mother Nature. I’m a big camping addict, and I like to head up in the timber for a weekend of solitude.

If a peaceful dose of the great outdoors is right up your alley, then you need to have the necessary supplies. You need some basic camping equipment if you want to really appreciate and enjoy the great outdoors by spending a couple days and nights with Mother Nature.

You need to bring a good quality tent that will protect you from any weather conditions that may arise. Bring matches, a flashlight, a camping knife, spare clothing, a sleeping bag and plenty of food that won't spoil too quickly. You're pretty ready to take on the great outdoors if you have these things. It would also be important to bring extras, because you may get hooked with all that outdoor goodness.

You should also check out the great outdoors online if you want to go on a camping trip. There are plenty of camping possibilities in cyberspace. You can find a deluge of great camping supplies for the right price and you can also get valuable information about the best camping sites. Simply hop on your PC and check out the great outdoors from your living room.
